Day 1. Arrive Chengdu
Upon arrival , you are greeted and transferred to the hotel to check in.

Day2: Chengdu/Leshan
This morning, see the Panda Breeding Cneter, the best place to see Chengdu”s most endearing residents. According to the pandas” activities when you visit, you may have the option to take your picture with an adorable baby panda! Then move on to Leshan . Visit Leshan Giant Buddha .Built in 713, it  is the biggest carved stone Buddha in the world which features in poetry, song and story. Return to Chengdu in the late afternoon and check into the hotel.

Day3. Chengdu/Lijiang
Today, take a drive to Sanxingdui where you may begin to explore Sanxingdui Museum with its remarkable collection of archeological artifacts spanning 5,000 years of culture in the Chengdu area.Then move on to visit Wangjianglou Park, known for its scenic cedar wood pavilions and bamboo forest. After dinner , fly to Lijiang where you are met and escorted to the hotel to check in.

Day4. Lijiang
Full day tour of the ancient Dayan Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the houses are wood-and-earth structures with tiled roofs and flower-filled courtyards. See the Mu Family Mansion, ancient home of a Naxi noble, is now a museum offering insight into Naxi history and culture. Then visit Yufeng Temple, with its famous 500-year-old camellia tree.

Day 5.Lijiang
This morning  vist the Jade Dragon Mounation Scenic Zone, After lunch ,tour the renowned Black Dragon Pool with its Moon Embracing Pavilion, Five Phoenix Pavilion and Dongba Cultural Village. Later visit Baisha village to see its Ming and Qing dynasty frescoes, then tour Shuhu Village, a well-preserved Naxi community.

Day 6. Lijang/Zhongdian
Today drive to Zhongdian, the stunningly picturesque setting believed to be the inspiration of the mythical Shangri-La described in James Hilton”s novel, The Lost Horizon. Along the way, behold the “First Bend” of the Yangtze River at Shigu, and astounding Hutiao (Tiger Leap) Gorge on the Jinsha River, one of the deepest gorges in the world.

Day 7. Zhongdian
Today”s breathtaking tour of this beautiful region visits 17th-century Gedan Songzanlin Monastery, After lunch , tour Potala National Park,an integral part of the Three Parallel Rivers Scenic Area, recognized as much for its dramatic topological contours and rich biodiversity, as for its stunning natural beauty,

Day 8. Zhongdian
After breakfast, out to visit the  scenic Napa lake , one of the scenic spots with the most distinctive plateau features in Shangrila.  Napa Lake Nature Preservation Zone is an ideal habitat for black-necked cranes, a kind of first-class protective animal of the country. From September to March of next year, black-necked cranes stay in this place for about half a year.Then on to tour Zhongdian”s Tibetan-style old town and local market.

Day 9 , Zhongdian/Shaxi
Depart Zhongdian this morning, travelling  to Shaxi(220km). Nestled deep in the Himalayan foothills of southwest China”s Yunnan Province, Shaxi is a culturally diverse town and home to the Bai and Yi minority peoples. The dramatic mountainous landscape and the 300 days of sunshine each year, combined with Shaxi”s unique history and culture, make for a complete and enjoyable experience. Sightseeing visits Stone Treasure Mountain and Sideng Market Area

Day 10:Shaxi/Dali
Morning is free to  explore Shaxi, After lunch ,drive to Dali ,capital of ancient Nanzhao and Dali kingdoms, and home of the Bai minority group. Check in to the hotel.

Day11: Shaix/Shaping
After breakfast, off to visit the Shaping Market.Located  30km north of Dali, it is a large rural village which, unlike Dali, hasn”t been much affected by tourism. It comes to life every monday, with an important market frequented by the Bai tribes people who ride down from the hills in their colorful traditional dress to trade and eat.

Day 12: Dali
In this lovely capital of ancient Nanzhao and Dali kingdoms, Â you will see the picturesque Three Pagoda Temple and the fascinating wonders of Dali”s ancient quarter .Visit some minority living quarters. In the evening stroll down Foreigner”s Street, absorbing the local atmosphere of the authentic markets.

Day13:Dali/Liuku
After breakfast, drive 200 km to Liuku, the capital of NuJiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture.Overnight in Liuku

Day15. Gongshan/Fugong

Travel by private car to Liuku(135km)  where you stay overnight

After breakfast, drive to Weishan (254km). Wishan is a national historical and cultural city, and also the capital of the ancient Nanzhao Kingdom. Tour of this morning visits Weibao Mountain , the cradle of Nanzhao and a well-known mountain of Taoism, Longqing Pass ,an ideal passage for migratory birds due to its tine forest ecology and suitable climatic conditions. After lunch, visit  Xiaoweigeng Mosque and local market. Overnight in Weishan

Day19. Weishan/Heijing
This morning , drive to Heijing(196 km). Heijing is a small town in the northern Chuxiong mountains. Salt once made Heijing one of Yunnan”s richest towns. Now its architectural splendours are being rediscovered. Founded in the Han Dynasty two millennia ago, even Marco Polo, the 13th century Venetian traveller, knew the place – for Heijing produced Yunnan”s most precious good: salt. Overnight in Heijing

After breakfast, drive to Kunming(200km) , City of Eternal Spring. Arrive Kunming After noon.
